The author of the book himself is a psychotherapist specializing in stress management. Here he mentions the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to overcome his battles with anxiety.
We all are living in a psychological trap and experiencing various emotions and the main emotion that is keeping us trapped is how to stay happy, that is the more we strive searching for happiness the more we suffer, Russ, tries and explains that people mislead ideas about happiness is the reasons which directly contribute to the current epidemic of stress, anxiety, and depression and how can one overcome this.
